A simple hit counter has been placed in the footer. More detailed information is also being collected via a WordPress plugin from which reports can be generated periodically.

For OUS events it would be sensible to put the date and location at the top of the post so that it is shown in the listing on the right.

In order to reduce (but not eliminate) repetition between the centre and right sections, I have replaced recent posts by a listing of the forthcoming events. In order to make this even more focussed I have divided the forthcoming events category into two, one for OUS SW France events and the other for other events of interest. Only the former are listed at the moment (or will be when the programme is ready), but it would be quite feasible to add a second list of the other forthcoming events. Any comments welcome.
